After reaching a top level on the Portuguese market, GEOTRILHO quickly understood that its expansion capability was necessarily related to the possibility of internationalising the services provided by the company.
With a strong presence on the Iberian market, similarly to the path that has been followed by many of the big Portuguese companies in the construction and public works sector, GEOTRILHO also started its internationalization process in Angola. Being a Portuguese speaking country, a factor which not being vital is however important to cement a project of this size in its initial phase, Angola met all conditions to serve as a launching pad for GEOTRILHO on the global market.
Feeling capable of launching itself to other challenges a bit all over the world, the international partnerships already established allowed it to do so, GEOTRILHO continued to grow beyond its borders. After Angola, the presence in Africa was expanded to one of the Maghreb countries of reference, Algeria, now also being in the final stage of consolidation for the year 2013 its presence in Mozambique, Ghana and Macao, the latter with the establishment of a local partnership.
Despite already having a strong international presence, we will always continue strategically to envision the enlargement to new markets.
