Using Laser Scanning survey data, we calculated the volume of five reservations of material from the mine. Structures were modelled, solids were generated, and with fast and accurate calculations, volumes were determined.

The need to develop studies at a basin belonging to a mining complex generated the Digital Terrain Model and modelled the structure in order to obtain representation in CAD platform. With a area of around 8 hectares, the data collection took 8 hours with a total of 62 million points.

The editing and processing took 16 hours. We produced several products like digital terrain models, level curves, hypsometric models, sections, among others

The intention of this work was to determine and evaluate the deformation of a Chimical Tank. A theoretical cylindrical surface was defined, to confront with the data collected with the laser, featuring the state of the structure (as-is ).
